It depends on your service package. If you’re on our basic cleanup service, we will double bag any waste and leave it in your dumpster. Alternatively, the Modern Mutt and Premium Mutt package offer our haul away service which allows us to remove the waste from the property before letting Waste Management services dispose of it.

If we can service our customers we do. If the conditions are unsafe, we won’t. Our goal is to get those clients serviced within the same week if we have to reschedule. That might mean we service you a couple days later than expected, but unless absolutely necessary, we will service as scheduled.

We will text you when we are on the way to service your property. We ask that dogs be put up to ensure safety to all parties. Additionally, if we are spraying deodorizer or sanitizer, we need all animals put away until we have finished service. However, if that’s not possible due to work scheduling or some other conflict, we just ask for an initial intro with all dogs prior to beginning service to reduce the risk of unnecessary stress to the animals as well as unnecessary risk to Modern Mutt Technicians.

Once per week is a minimum for most people. This is really dependent on your specific needs. Yard size and dog breed is the biggest determining factors as well as how often will you or other people be in your backyard. As an example, If you have a smaller yard and larger breed dogs, or children who will be frequently playing in the yard, we will always recommend 2 services per week. Smaller breeds and larger yards can probably get by with one service per week. But as they say “Your Mileage May Vary”. We are happy to have an initial consulting call to address your specific nedes.

Nope! We will get all necessary info during onboarding including gate codes, gate access info, etc. The only caveat is if you have potentially aggressive dogs that stay outside during our service time. This is something we are happy to work with you on to the best of our ability.

We offer weekly services starting around $30 per service. However, Modern Mutt uses our Proven Modern Mutt Method which is a 3 prong approach that includes deodorization/sanitization, and dog repellant to ensure customer satisfaction. These services cost only a few dollars more to the customer but make a big difference in the finished product. Most clients will end up paying between $30-$50 / week depending on their specific needs.

Upon signup, we will assign a specific day of the week (or 2 depending on your frequency preference) for weekly cleanup depending on when we service your area. We will send you a message that morning reminding you it’s service day and then text you again when we are on our way. As well as one last notification when we leave accompanied by a picture of the closed gate so you know it’s safe to let your dogs back out in the yard.

You can reschedule directly in the app or call us at least 24 hours prior to service. Additionally, in the app you can update payment information, add additional services, and add any notes our technician may need to serve you better. 

Yard size, dog count, yard access limitations, aggressive dogs, and a myriad of other factors can all contribute to us not being able to service certain clients as we normally would or with the same frequency or pricing.
